For the P4 – P7

For S1 – U16

6.To sharpen their game and give themselves an edge.
7.To leave players with the tools to improve their game
For Specialist Training Days
1.To encourage players to play to their strengths
2.Identify and address weaker parts of their game
3.To develop skill levels and instinct
4.To provide high quality specialist training to those who have or have not made pathways
5.To create strong team players that are aware of their role and responsibilities within their team
6.To leave players with the tools to improve their game
Rugby Camp Objectives
Pro-Coach Scotland Rugby Camps provide participants with an opportunity to evolve the skills and techniques that will take their game to a higher level.
The training events allow participants to develop their skills under the instruction of highly skilled coaches. In senior camps we explore positional responsibilities alongside core and unit skills.
Event structure
Full Day events run from 10.00am until 4.00pm Monday – Wednesday . Events have a strong emphasis on understanding the game and are structured around short coaching sessions followed by modified games designed to reinforce coaching points. Participants are given fitness and conditioning advice.
Half day events follow the same format as full day events, they run from 9.00am until 12 noon Monday – Wednesday.
Coaching
All coaches are hand-picked and are highly qualified sports professionals. All hold enhanced Disclosure Scotland Certificates.
As well as extensive experience each coach has the most advanced coaching and safety procedures at their disposal. This ensures that participants learn new skills in a secure and fun environment.
Who Can Attend
Senior camps are open to players of all skill levels between S1 and Under 16. New players are always welcome.
Mini camps are open to all players between p4 – p7. All levels of skill and experience are catered for. New players are always welcome.
What to Bring
- Gumguard
- Rugby Boots (Football boots acceptable)
- Water Bottle
- Rugby Kit, waterproofs and warm clothing
- Change of clothes
